Perfection in Nature

Who has not found the heaven below
Will fail of it above.
God’s residence is next to mine,
His furniture is love.

- Emily Dickinson

Isn’t the reflection just perfect….. It’s times like these that you can admire just how amazingly beautiful Nature truly is. This is a shot taken in Scotland’s Glen affric which is supposed to be the prettiest of all the glens in Scotland. Anyway, enough about the beauty of the scene, what do you think of the shot?

P.S. I suggest you check out this picture by Tom Sheehan, I find it absolutely stunning.

Its OK, so perfect that its lost its impact. See crackingshot’s previous shot, exactly like this but its not dark. Just OK from me, levels and curves might have made it a silhouette?

excellent reflection on the still loch; but for me it is too dull

Hard to decifer what it is, actually….

Love that quote. Emily is one of my faves. Crazy as a loon, but a great poet and writer.

    What a gorgeous shot Samarth.
I love the blue and the grey and the suggestion of green. It makes me feel so calm.

Perfect reflection, that water must have been still.

Samarth…the trouble is you have set yourself high standards and by yours this doesn’t cut the mustard! It does have a charm but like others have said it isn’t bright enough. I do like dark photos but this feels grey if that makes any sense. Phil

The water is beautiful as is the sky. Perhaps you could do some dodging on the land to add some depth to it though. But I agree with you, nature can be so beautiful!

I think this is nice. The reflection is cool enough, but not enough details to make it interestng.
