Locked and Loaded

I pulled from all that harbored anger we all have and lock away in a vault and keep it there locked so we can function.

- Vin Diesel

Felt sort of lazy today so I just pulled the first shot I could find in the archives and touched it up a bit. I guess life is just a sequence of lock and unlock decisions…. to lash out or stay calm, to speak your mind or keep shut, to hold on or let go etc etc…. This was basically a fancy door locking mechanism i photographed in a car.

I need some fresh shots to liven myself up because I feel like editing SOMETHING so either today or tomorrow I’m gonna go get a few shots from South Kensington and Victoria, which being tourist-y places are always rather pretty to walk around in.

And finally, the most important news of all – I’m shifting to a new shutterchance blog. I haven’t given the address because there’s nothing to see there yet, but come Monday and my first shot will be up.

Reasons- Always disliked this interface since it wasn’t channelled towards photography and also, shutterchance blogs need absolutely zero maintenance which is pretty cool. I’ve been contemplating the move for a while and ever since Blain (of Stardog Photos) shifted I’ve been pretty sure I was going to do the same.

Have a great weekend everyone!!! (I can’t, far too much study work I’ve been neglecting :( )

Crop it in half horizontally, and you’ve got something better. This is kinda weird looking since its vertical. (me no fan of verticals anyways, I hardly post them once a year) Disagree with Phil, it has potential like many of your shots.

Its nice. Quite imaginative of u to take a picture of a car lock, or should i just call is laziness! Anyways, this is quite a good pic as compared 2 others.

lol .. i’ve only just got round to linking to you here & you’re moving house!

as for the photo .. i really like it (there’s absolutely nothing wrong with vertical shots!) .. am liking the colours, the simplistic abstractness of it, & the light relections are great!

really cool shot, I like it a lot. Kind of abstract, but very literal at the same time.

I love wordpress, but I have paid accounts, so I can see why you don’t. I hope new new blog goes well for ya!
